Faye Song is a partner of Global Law Office, based in Beijing and specialized in banking and finance, capital markets, asset management products and compliance.

In the field of banking and finance, Faye Song has provided legal services to international financial institutions, Chinese and international banks as well as export credit agencies active in the market and advised on various types of syndicated loans, project financing, structured trade financing and financial derivatives.

In the field of bond issuance, Faye Song has participated in a large number of onshore and offshore bond issuances (including Panda Bonds, corporate bonds, debt financing instruments of non-financial enterprises issued in the PRC bond market, and RMB, USD and EUR bonds issued in the Hong Kong, Singapore and London markets). She has worked as the lead counsel in several “first” Green Bonds and Panda Bonds issued by onshore and offshore financial institutions and corporates.

In the field of asset management products and compliance, Faye Song has led the legal service team to advise on commercial banks, financial management subsidiaries and insurance companies with respect to bank financial products, trust products and asset management schemes. She also provides annual retainer and ad hoc legal services in this field to Chinese financial institutions and corporates.
